My early art training was received while attending City Park Collegiate in Saskatoon. Following a 35 year career with SaskTel I resumed painting, choosing watercolour as a medium. These past few years have been a learning experience studying and practicing the many techniques of this versatile medium.

In addition to self-study, I have taken painting and drawing classes throgh the University of Saskatchewan Extension Department Community Arts Program and have attended workshops sponsored by groups and individuals. I have also found that working in oil and acrylic paints is enjoyable and find that these mediums can be very expressive as well.

As my work is mainly landscapes they are an attempt to give a visual interpretation of what I see and feel as I react to a particular scene or object in a manner which is pleasing to me, and hopefully to others.
